At the heart of a vibrant, established trade area featuring large nationally recognized companies, two hospitals, several grocery stores and strong residential communities, is Spectrum, a 40-acre mixed use project located in Gaithersburg, MD. The project is located at the intersection of Watkins Mill Road and MD Route 355 and I-270 in the midst of the bio-tech corridor. Local employers Kaiser Medical Center, Lockheed Martin, Emergent, Professional Drive Office Park, the U.S. Humane Society, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Spectrum’s residential component includes the 224-unit Paramount East and West apartments and the Majestic, a 243-unit luxury apartment with both public and gated residential parking. Spectrum is part of the larger Watkins Mill Town Center, slated to include 4.5 million square feet of Class A office, hotel, restaurants, retail and more than 2,200 homes and apartment units.
